Wow. That is great. If you go on youtube he actaully does quite a few of these trumpet lesson clinics. I have already watched 3 of them and am going to watch them all. Just listening to a true legend explain the theory of the horn and how to do it properly is amazing. For any of you guys out there who are needing some lessons I highly recommend you watch these videos for your own good if you want to become a better player.

The videos bring up some very interesting points. They definitely shed new light on some of the things found in most of the method books we all use.

Claude Gordon did have a "brilliant" sound. The mic does not do him justice though!

The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

What do you mean he doesn't explain lower pedals?I could explain more having studied with Claude Gordon's student Rheal Matthieu when I attended McGill.I can also get you in touch with Jocelyn Couture whom you may already know as Canada's top lead player!
