Anyone ever play these or have the book/CD combo. It looks like something that might be useful for me. I'm currently only playing NYSSMA level #4 stuff with any grace now. I'm hoping these are in a range where I can play some now and grow into the rest.
Damn, did I start learning this instrument late~

    Gregc,

I own the book/CD, and I enjoy playing from it quite a lot. I have also loaned it to some of my better students. I highly recommend it!

My apologies, but I have no idea what "NYSSMA level #4" means, so I can't comment upon whether the studies might be suitable for you.
I have them and enjoy working through them both for my own playing and with my advanced students.

They are worth getting not just as pieces, but also to hear Philip Smith playing them - awesome player.
