pink spots?

    i have the same problem too, i got a valve gaurd that has additionl parts to cover the contact points under the leadpipe, bell and around the slides as they go into the third valve (after having to get a patch on the knuckle that goes into the thirdvalve from the tuning slide)

    Its red rot. Perhaps a chem cleaning would help if its not to bad.

    Maybe more handwashing or hand disenfectant might help :dontknow:

    at lest once a year i take my horn in for a chem-dip, well that was my older horns, how ever i only had my pheaton for bout five months and i noticed some pink spotting on the valve case, but it just might be the inperfections of the raw brass.i hope!
