Plagued with shaky tone; not tired, don't know why

    Gmonady and others have given some good ideas, especially if you have a tick. One other possibility is seen in your statement that you changed your warmup routine. Go back to doing what you were doing before acquiring the tick. Add the long tones, etc. at some other point in your practice day.

    I know the OP has poofed ... and my first thought was breath support .. or possible health issue.
    Did you notice he said a burning sensation and also said he smiles alot. I wonder if he was over doing the tension trying to hold the embrouchure. Then you could have the same result as an isometric exercise. Push your hands hard up against each other and after a minute they start to shake...kind of like that.

    Most of the cries for help on the internet are hit and run. Many times because the obvious things require patience and determination. We won't know for sure unless VSTERN comes back to tell us. No sense speculating.
