Howdy folks. I had a root canal done on an upper left molar almost two weeks ago. Things seemed to have healed nicely, no discomfort, but..........it feels like my lips and teeth have shifted slightly off center to favor the right side of my face. Also, my playing is taking longer to recover than I expected. My lips become much more fatigued quicker than usual. Do you think that it was because of the oral surgeon wrenching on that tooth moving other teeth ever so slightly, effects of the novocaine(or whatever they use now), or just that I'm an old guy (51) and it takes longer to recover. I've got to play some piccolo trumpet this weekend and I'm trying to figure out how to approach practicing for it.
