Playing duets with your kids

    It's been about 2-1/2 years since I posted this thread, and now I not only play duets at home, but we have a trumpet trio since my 4th grade daughter plays now too! Here's a quick holiday video of the 3 of us at it:

    Thanks Rich, that's beautiful. You're a lucky man. My whole family played (Mum piano, Dad Euphonium, brother cornet/piano, sister piano) but my only son is a turntable-ist - where did I go wrong? :-)

    That's great! My initial motivation as a comeback cornet player was my son starting to play the French Horn. Now, I look forward to the 1 hour every day when we sit down together and practice (and it's given me a great crash course in transposing!).
