"playing on the "low" side of things"

    Which G's are sharp? Is it your fault, the horns fault, the mouthpieces fault or all of the above? Are they sharp in every key that you play. Can you sing in tune? Maybe we live in a world where we just expect the G's to be flatter and you are one of the few that are right! ;-)

    I gather from the 3 pages of posts here that there are infinite combinations of problems and solutions. Finding the right one for each of us (or just learning to live with it) is probably the biggest challenge.

    HoosierDaddy - the fact that you are a TMer makes you a good person. What is a sharp G between friends?
