Poor man's mute rack

    It's the same material used in plumbing. Might I suggest Tiddy Bowel?

    If you made it from copper tubing and added a kettle at one end, and some heat, and some fruit, or spuds, maybe some pumpkin, a little sugar ....... sorry, gone all lateral.

    This is simple, cheap, and inspired - well done. Painting it matt black might let it blend into the stand better - I'd think that it shouldn't feature more than your trumpet.

    Now you got me a little worried Ted... Was thinking about loaning you my Kanstul 1526 Flugelhorn, but now I am scared I'd be getting it back in Matt Black. See that Avatar in my signature line... that's me writing out a self script for an anxiolytic agent.

    I thought about spraying it with truck bed liner to give it some texture and make it so the mutes don't rattle against it. But I sure like the bright copper.
