Does anyone one any performance quality duet books. My friend and I are thinking about doing a duet for a festival.
We want some on the lyrical side. I don't exactly know how to express difficulty on the Internet but we are solid high school player who attend honor band stuff.

Try the Gatti book. Good mix of performance-worthy lyrical and technical duets.

I've played out of the 33 Selected Duets book, and I think the 78 Selected Duets book is good too.

You could try some of the Telemann canonic sonatas arranged for two trumpets - some lovely stuff.
