I have a Schilke B5 and I wanna try out the Schilke mouthpiece. It seems differently shaped to me than my others. I don't know. I have a Bach 7c a Benge, I don't think they're made anymore, and I have a Yamaha.
I would be interested to hear people's opinions on the Schilke mouthpiece and maybe let me know of any other mouthpieces that are great ones to use. Thanks!:-)

Well, not to use an overworn cliche, but it depends on you, really. I use a Schilke 14 for any jazz/big band stuff I may have. One of my friends can't stand them. Why? Our lips are made differently. For me, the Schilke was more comfortable than the Bach I was on at the time. I've since started using a Laskey for my symphonic work, which is more comfortable still. But the main point I'm trying to make here is that regardless of what people on here tell you, and some will have some great input, you're really not going to know anything about any mouthpiece until you've tried it.

Schilke, very good. I like them!

P.S. MANY others are very good too.
