Yeah, the flugle piece is called "Antietam" by Chris Lynn --- it's kind of a marchy ballad type of song celebrating the civil war battle. The piece is like 5 pages long --- so Yeah, I have been practicing the flugel the last few days, and I am starting to dig the sound the composer wants, so it's very cool ---- and, it's coming around where I "wonder why I ever let it sit in the closet" ---- I just have to remember to """ADD AIR""" towards the top of the staff ------ MY flugel likes to have lots of air --- my lungs say, "ugh, both of us are doing the best we can!!!" I suppose I'm hijacking Vetpsychwars thread---- but then again, WITHOUT THIS THREAD, I might have NEVER REALLY CONSIDERED giving the Flugle a real run again --- -and as a trumpet player, I might have aquiesced to let the OTHER GUY in band do the solo himself --- NOW WE CAN HAVE 2 FLUGELS IN UNISON. AWESOME, TOM --- YOU JUST HELPED OUR COMMUNITY BAND OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
