What is the best way to practice double tongueing? Like excercises.

I am just an adult student also learning doiuble tounguing. I am working with a good teacher who held off on these until my single tounguing was under control and I stopped blockiing air and had good breath suppoert. Now, I am working up the F major scale in quarter notes at MM=60 per quarter note. First trip through, singing the ta-ka-ta-ka pattern; second time through, play the patterm; third time through, play all ka's. What has been impressed upon me is to do them slowly at first and go for an even arculation. Frankly, I can't imagine learning some of these technical aspects without someone to monitor and adjust how you're doing! I am working with a routine out of a method book by Don Johnston but the personal touch can't be beat.

    Good luck!

I agree a good teacher is a must. I use the Arban's book with my students. Start on page 175 # 77. But the real trick is how you do them. Like any exercise it requires monitoring to build good habits.
