In case any of you are interested, Navy Band Southwest will be featured on NPR's "Prairie Home Companion" this Saturday. Take a listen and check out my gig! :D

that is very cool, we listen on the weekends while driving around. my bro and sis-in-law went to an actual show performance up in Minneapolis when they were there.

when do they 'shoot' that, or, uh, record it? Live or during the week sometime?

I saw a live show at the West Virginia State Fair a few years ago of the Prairie Home Companion show. I will do my best to listen.

We are recording Saturday afternoon - not sure if it's live or will be broadcast later, but it should be entertaining!

Some friends played it some 25 years ago; it was live with those hand signals to speed up and slow down (not the bands, naturally) and they reported Garrison Keillor closed his eyes during the monologue, as if in a trace.

Look forward to listening to the show!

Props go to MU3 Stephanie Robinson on the ballad - she played beautifully tonight! The show was a lot of fun - sound effects guy had us in tears laughing! I'm glad you all enjoyed it! The live audience had a lot of fun, too :)
