Program notes: Balay

    I have my senior trumpet recital in November and despite looking in Groves and through MENC/JSTOR articles, I can't find hardly any information on Guillaume Balay. Does anyone know anything?

    How about for The Four Horsemen? It's a trumpet quartet, but all my searches come up with answers about the apocalypse.

    I did a quick google search and found this site has some sheet music by Guillame Balay:

    Not sure that its the level of difficulty you are looking for - familiar with the Petite Piece Concertante - but two others look interesting - the Andante & Allegro, and the Piece de Concours. Some of the entries allow you to take a "look inside" and see the first page of the music.
