No question here, just a comment on how I'm improving. I started a comeback about 18 months ago. I was never a great player, but did well in Highschool. I picked the horn up again when my son started in 6th grade. About 7 months ago I started working with Bruce Haag on the Claude Gordon method. At the beginning I had lots of issues (airflow, tonguing, range, etc).

As of today, I have a usable range to an E and a max range to an F#. I could only eek out a C before. I can now tongue very well and have learned to double and triple tongue, as well as single K tongue. My tone has improved and I've actually started to rehearse with a local charity big band.

I'm happy with the progress I've made, but I know I have a lot more to work on. It's amazing the difference a few months and a lot of practice can make.
