Proof I'm getting old

    My C is shiny silver plate, my normal Bb is raw brass and my son's 8335RGS which I might be selling is matte-silver-plated, so it's always obvious which instrument I'm picking up, even if I'm practically asleep.

    I think I would be in the same situation if I had matching Bb and C horns!

    The secret to a trumpet is just to blow.

    Whatever happens, just blow. Figure out what exactly came out of it afterwards. ROFL

    By the way, my favorite pair of glasses is a shot glass and a wine glass.

    You brought back a post from 2009.
    I'm going back to play midnight mass tomorrow. I'll be walking around asleep for a couple days again.

    The big question about the original post is, Why couldn't I hear the pitch was a step off? I hope if it happens again, I would hear it.
