    Hi.

I now have a podcast online of cornet virtuosos of the past. I have a total of about 250 sound files to post and plan on posting about one per day. The two that are up right now are of Jules Levy. The sound quality of course is not the greatest because most of these are from cylinder recordings.

Here is how you get to them:
Get iTunes for either Mac or Windows for free at apple.com
Do a search for "Purtle.com Podcast" and indicate to search the podcasts
It should then show and you can click "subscribe."
Check back every few days and click "Update" to get the new files.

I hope you all enjoy hearing these greats!
    Jeff

I just posted this weeks files all today.
I am currently finishing posting about 30 some recordings of Walter Rogers, who was Herbert L. Clarke's favorite soloist.

Also, stay tuned for a special posting Thursday.
I have a sound file of an old radio show that should be
    interesting to lots of people.
