Quiet time...what to study?

    3)Prelude to Brass Playing -Mendez
    4)Effortless Mastery - Werner

    Thanks guys. What do you think about the "flash cards" idea? Is there anyone that puts out such things?

    Hi Crow,
    I made and continue to make my own from index cards. I do not know of any firm that makes flashcards for music.
    If you make your own cards, may I suggest starting out with the first 48 chords ranging from Major 7th to Half Diminished.
    Make using the cards a game and take turns quizzing each other.
    Pull a card and without the other person seeing it, ask;
    What notes are in the chord?
    Play the arpeggio for the chord up and down.
