Any suggestions for old ragtime-type music that goes well with a trumpet? I've been practicing the Red Rose Rag, and The Entertainer.

It's fun to play and I'm looking for more...but all the ragtime sheet music I see is for piano, which doesn't always translate into something fun to play solo on a trumpet.

3 come to mind as they were extremely popular at the turn of the century, particularly for cornet band arrangements.
    1. At a Georgia camp meeting. 2. Smokey Mokes cakewalk. 3. Blaze Away rag.

In my first year of college I played The Entertainer in marching band and a brass quintet, and it was getting plenty of play on the radio. The worst thing that happened was that I heard it being played on the University glockenspiel as I was going back to my dorm.

Weather Bird Rag is hard to beat, and gives cornetists a nice workout.
