The Art of Trumpet Playing by Keith Johnson. Great book. Not a method book.

You also might be interested in two books by Luis Loubriel. The first is "Lasting Change for Trumpeters" which is about the teachings of Arnold Jacobs. The other is "Back to Basics for Trumpeters" which is about the teachings of Vincent Cichowicz.

There's a brand new biography out on Clifford Brown. It was great. I read it in two sittings.
