Recording software?

    BTW guys,
    I saw this thread and clicked on it out of curiosity
    then downloaded audacity out of curiosity,
    and now i'm using it in practice sessions. Very useful:thumbsup:

    Often if you buy a recording interface you will get free recording software with it that will give you a professional environment and the effects you need. Nowadays you can buy something really basic for $300. Also, with the interface you will not have the microphone input problem because these interfaces come with a proper microphone preamp. You have to check the requirements to run the interface and software ie operating system, computer speed, Windows, Mac...

    Audacity is what i use to save in different file formats that includes the videogame world. But for recording it is extremely non standard and extremely annoying.
