Well my braces have been off for about two weeks and my sound comes and goes. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can keep a good constant sound?

    Practice.

Lots of longtones, lip slurs and easy tunes in the staff. Build your sound in the middle and low register first. Once that range is SOLID then you can venture above the staff. My students get a heavy duty dose of the various fake books and the Lutheran hymnbook (I own this one).

Tunes, tunes, tunes and lots of playing are the only answer.

I'd listen to rowuk. I did the same things he mentioned when I got my braces off almost two years ago. Sadly I have to put up with retainers for a few more years.
