    Hi,

I played trumpet 10 years ago, when I was still at school (7 years, not very motivated practice with private teacher).

Not really into Jazz nor classical music at that time, I dropped my trumpet on the side...

I'd like to restart now, but as an expatriate in Korea, I do not havethe opportunity to find a teacher.

    My material is
    Trumpet : Bach TR300
    Mouthpieces : 7C, 1,25 C

I'd like to restart alone, but anyway with most of fun. A,nd only playing notes or the small things I was playing 10 years ago starts quite rapidly to be boring.

What do you advice me to try to recover and enhance my level.

    Thanks

You need to at least get into some program where other players are. Of course we can all start alone, but the bad habits that we aquire will haunt us AND limit our playing thereafter. Therefore, I just can't recommend starting alone. The chance for success is not zero, but...........
