    I found a Karl Deimer Rotary.
    It filled my requirements.
    Good looking.
    Nice original case
    Changed to silicon {The Valve supporting thing}
    Ultra-Sonic Cleaned.
    Lubricated.

    BUT It doesn't have a water key. How am I supposed to remove the water.......
    Any suggestions? I'm sad. I was about to be jumping with joy but.....

    Just pull out the slide, or have a water key installed. With rotaries, many people just rotate the horn and let the water drop out of the leadpipe.
    Don't manufacture problems where there aren't any!

    Ok thanks because I didn't want to empty the water by pulling the slides out in the middle of a performance :D

    To install an amado water key on a raw brass horn is one of the easy things a tech can do.

    Do your French Horns have water keys? Mine do not. Don't be put off a good instrument by lack of a water key, just buy it.

    Regards, Stuart.

    I believe the Farkas model horns have a water key.
