Yeah...but it looks....INDUSTRIAL...you know? Like what you'd see under the floor plumbing steam to an industrial operation. It lacks...style...flair....to my eye, anyway.

    Stylistic panache~

    Looks like nicely crafted bracing.

    Hahaha!
Don't think one can anodized brass...wish that I could.

Now....one COULD spray the brass with a good colorshift paint, and then seal that under a layer of epoxy....wouldn't that look COOL?
I really just added contrasting colors here to make it easier to see the different parts.
I am going to HAVE to learn to draw in 3d on the pc.

Come on, now, Gordon! ...and I thought we'd all been quite kind to you so far.

Here's one of mine by the way.

The F90 alloy main steam header on that baby was a real beauty!

There IS a sort of beauty in function...I admit. Impressive bit of work!
I was always one for having the insides dictate the outsides. Anything less is deceptive, disingenuous.
There is also an esthete that, when utilized, without any falseness, ADDS intrigue, interest, a progressive revealing, a tidy relationship of the instrument, the mind, and the eye.

The great designers had it.F.L. Wright, Raymond Loewery

I hope that ones who look at the jazz trumpet concept posted here years from now and SEE a pureness, a thoughtfulness, a succinctness, a completeness...visual excitement. I can hope.

Low pitch version tuned to C = 50 Hz and blows at 170 times atmospheric pressure so you might find it a tad stuffy in the upper register :-)

Then you'd be looking for the new Frame 9HA, Sir (ours were mere 9FAs). I'm sure GE can cater for the colonial 60 Hz option ;-)
