    Hi Katz,

Has anybody got a link for a free download for the above book?

I know Clyde Hunt would not be happy to read this. He is a very patient, personable person who can be contacted easily by e-mail and he does respond. I have purchased his book and several of CDs. This is how trumpet teachers make a living. It is not that expensive. And, it is REALLY worth it.

    Best Wishes & Good Luck,

Judging by the book cover I thought this was an old book, and hence the writer had passed away, blah blah blah

Well, you would do better to master the three C's in the middle before worrying about pedal, double pedal, and triple c's.

    Low C
    Middle C
    High C
    DHC

    Yep.. four is enough!

Current copyright terms do not end with the author's death (current length is 75 years or 50 years beyond the death of the author). You'll find that many indie pubs do not have professional covers.

I'll save the reform arguments for a different thread. Or preferably, not on this forum at all.

Edit: not sure how this pertains internationally, as this is US law, but my understanding is that it echoes international treaty.

Your understanding is essentially correct since international copyright is covered under the terms of the Berne Convention, of which the US is a signatory nation.
