    Hello guys,

So I recently discovered this mouthpiece the schilke 14a4a and I absolutely love it. It does everything i need it to do for my kind of work. The only problem is I find that my tuning suffers. Now I'm not 100% positive why. Sometimes I'm really sharp or some times it doesn't bother me at all. Is this just from not practicing enough with the mouthpiece? Before I used a bach 1 1/2c. At the time of using that mouthpiece I only played 5+ hours on performance time. Now I play 10+ hours of performance time and the bach was exhausting me. The schilke how ever helped me pull through. I find that I can create both a classical and jazz sound using the mouthpiece. But its the tuning that bothers me....

Why is this in the WIKI and not in the mouthpiece part of the forum. There is no Wiki like content in your post and the sense or foolishness of a 14a4a is well documented. If you like your classical tone with that mouthpiece, you are not playing anywhere serious enough to want better.
