Where does the model MII (M2) fit into the Schilke lineup? And what identifies them from the Model Bs etc.

My thoughts - Reynold setup Yamaha to make trumpets. He even let them patent his ideas for financial reasons, in case of law suites, which did pay out later.....

Yamahas are some of the most respected horns out there, but Schilkes quality of building horns if infamous!!!

Yeah there is a cure for the old Yamaha curse so no big deal. You could have not had a better person or company assemble you horn, period! Reynold even made B1's with these Yamaha cursed valves, although I am sure he would not have if he had known. Heck Arturo made his career off of playing a B1 with a Yamaha valves. If you ask me, it is a good horn for the bucks. You can pick them up for a really good price and is probably a good pick over many other horns in it’s price range. Oh yeah, if you want a fixed third valve ring then get one put on.
