Sarah's out hunting....
How about: Thing's goin my way... On the Alaska Highway?
It's only today that I'll play ... I played yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet.
Really!? I thought I was one of few.. who else?
Also, VentureScore, while you're in Anchorage it might be a good idea to give Linn Weeda a call and ask for a lesson. A very good classical trumpet player with a solid reputation in the east coast to back it up.
I'm sorry that you will miss Glacier Park (in Montana) and Waterton Park (in Alberta) ... but maybe on your return trip.
I've driven the Alaska Highway about 8 times and it is a hoot. Do try to stop at Liard Hot Springs (in northern British Columbia just before you cross north into the Yukon Territory). In the old days you walked in a short distance to a natural spring. I understand now that there is an actual lodge there ... (too bad).
And, BTW, don't always believe the tourist signs that say "GAS ... 124 Kilometers". They might be closed.
Are you planning on taking the number 1 hwy from winnipeg or the number 16 (aka the yellowhead)?
