Just remember, that was someone else playing, not you. Caviat Emptor.
No, that was a Monette: Caviar Empore
Thankfully I prefer Silver
All horns are not available with silver plating! And when it comes to Monette; If it's not available, it's NOT available! They want do any custom work!
They do silver.
Play a few before you get too excited - they may not suit you or your playing style. I've played a few and still don't feel the need to own one. However, the second I played a V Raptor I wanted one. This doesn't mean I think Monettes are bad horns in any way, but they don't suit my needs like the one I'm playing, and I spent under $5k on two of them (one was used) so I can afford to have a back-up. That makes me happy, too.
I owned a Monette Ajna many years ago! And it didn't work for me! Today, I would really love to try a Monette MF Prana!
Just remember, it's the player that makes the sounds and the music, not the hardware.
Not all models, according to Dave!
Only the lighter horns are available in silver:
MF Prana, XLT, LT. The heavier horns are only available in raw brass and gold. Monettes gold plating is copper, then silver then gold plate on top.
Here the details:
