anyone know if silvertone trumpets (made by blessing) are big bore?
Are you talking about HN White SilverTone trumpets with solid Sterling Silver bells or the Silvertone trumpets sold by Sears?
I think he is asking about the ones made for Sears. I don't think Blessing made HN White horns, but I could be wrong.
Blessing did make horns for sears under the silvertone name but they were not the only manufacturer that made them.
Sorry I didn't catch the Blessing reference, my appologies.
thanks for the input, however, you haven't answered my question... are silvertone trumpets made by blessing, big bore?
I believe they made both .454 and .458 bore Silvertones, neither of which is technically a large bore.
thanks for the info.
There was a Sears Silvertone stencil of the Blessing Super Artist. .468 bore I believe it was called a model 200. Though there are even several variations of that. I owned one for a while, and it was a good horn.
