I guess I should update how it went. I'm 2 out of 5. Ethan Prall is now principal. And that really doesn't bother me, as he's an excellent musician, as well as very intelligent on how something should be played (he has about 2X the experience I have). I actually tied for 2 with another more experienced player, but because of pecking order I win. Yay for upperclassmen.

    Anyway, thanks Manny.

:dontknow: I am racking my brain about where that lick occurs. for quite a few days now! I can't quite make it match the fanfares, the scherzo or the last movement! AAAHHHH!!! :?: Then I get mixed up and end up combining the fifth... :stars:

bigaggie...congrats, man. 2nd has its own set of unique challenges that are quite rewarding. Listen and blend. (My professor used to tell me it was the 2nd player's job to know when the first is supposed to come in!)
