    Lads, I think you are saying the same thing - my B&H Tenor Horn is described as an Alto Horn in the States - while in the UK, where it was made it is known as a Tenor Horn.

    I think my humour is going un-noticed. Of course it's a tenor horn, but it looks like you could get it for a tenner - ten quid - £10!

    You may be surprised what we do and don't get, it's just that sometimes you have to work a bit harder for the laughs. It's a tough gig being a comedian amongst trumpet players - almost as tough as being a trumpet player amongst comedians.

    You can't tell what you're getting unless it's specified as a Besson or whatever. I found a page of Chinese manufacturers the other day and I was amazed to see how many classic designs have been ripped off - Bachs, even Monettes.
