    Spike Jones surrounded himself with EXCELLENT musicians!

    George Rock was a great trumpet player.

    He also sang like a little kid and recorded the original "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth".

    Hey Solar,
    Did you know that your 9mm round would have traveled 57.9545454545_ miles in those 4 minutes of awaiting a 911 response? Of course, that's assuming zero gravity or air resistance....oops, that was off topic :roll:
    My parents used to love Spike Jones....geez, I'm getting old. :shock:

    Good grief, I remember Spike Jones on the radio when I was learning trumpet and hoping to 'someday' play that well.

    "Cocktails for Two" anyone? ROFL My latest is a CD of their greatest hits, but have enjoyed them since the LP era.

    Ahhh, the wonderful Mr Jones. I grew up listening to him and every now and then have to pinch myself to remind me just how great these guys were!
