    Spoknkrk:
The process of learning the unemotional technical aspects of something (like music and trumpet) but expressing that something in a very emotional way.
Yep, it's my own word and I've yet to have my 3rd cup of coffee but isn't that the process we go through? We learn the unemotional, technical, mechanical aspects of music (or a piece of music) but are required to perform it in very emotional terms.

and we often learn it front to back --- which means we know the first hundred measures a lot better than the last 100 ---- so often are emotional content first captured nicely in the front half of the song, sometimes wanes as we concentrate on the notes in the last half

Nice. Normally one would have to travel to Wales to see a word of such length with so few vowels.

With technical ability (and showing it off) and emotion, our challenge is to find the balance (grsshppr).

    Wrong captain.
We weren't buddy-buddy with Klingons yet. Picard was a Klingon lover. Kirk chased them down.
