Stolen Trombone - please watch out for it!

Only yesterday, a trombone friend of mine visited Votruba's music store in Vienna, around 3 pm. Main thoroughfare, lots of people on the road, parking directly in front of the shop.

During the few minutes he was in the shop, his car was broken into,
and his custom made Rath trombone (rose brass throughout, no lacquer)
was taken, as well as his laptop.
He does not mind the laptop... but the trombone is irreplaceable.

He is offering to buy the finder a mouthpiece of their own choice,
    by any maker whatsoever. :D

The maker is Rath, it is totally gold brass (even valve slides and all the trimmings, which is unusual). Details can be had fro the owner, Thomas Zsivkovits (who does speak English).

    And here's the exact description:

"Today my beloved Rath trombone was stolen out of my car while I was at a local music store in Vienna.
It is a non modular R4 ALL red brass contruction, even the f-attachment tubings are made of red brass.
Wide Nickel slide with red brass crook. Hagman valve with heavy Rath cap. Tuning slide made of seamed yellow brass.
Bell section is unlaquered. Its truly one of a kind trombone.

serial number on slide: R4 568NW

If somebody sees this trombone curving around the net or at an online auction or music store please be so kind and let me know. I will pay the finder a mouthpiece of his choice from ANY maker......... Thx soooo much!!!"

That really sucks. I had a horn stolen and it leaves an ache and a helpless fury. I hope your friend and his horn are reunited.
