DUDE -- we can't move to the food court at the mall --- AFTER ALL, we need the low brass section to participate in the PRACTICE!!! ROFL ROFL ROFL --- those TWO TUBA GUYS, THE EUPHONIUM AND TROMBONE PLAYERS -- yeah they EACH would be woofing down 3 or 4 double cheeseburgers, a couple of large fries, and an EXTRA LARGE DIET COKE!!! ROFL ROFL ROFL

My regular piece is a GR Bergeron Studio.
I think the loaner was a Marcinkeweicz Shew 1.25

It was a bit tighter than I am used to, and it seemed to have a sharper bite on the rim. Over all it felt "jumpier" but I could lean on it ok.

I was already warming up on a 3C, thinking I could be Tony Gorusso for one show!

That would be difficult for me as they are over my ears and hang on my nose except when I'm sleeping, but for some others I can understand it may at sometime be a problem.

What is worse than forgetting ones music is the conductor forgetting his scores.

Yep, same here, and done that too.
I have graduated lenses, so I cannot read the music with my normal set of glasses, as I need to tilt my head way back, and then the Bell goes up...umm. I have a dedicated music set, good to a few metres. Only forgot them once. Now I keep them in the trumpet case. Even if I am using another horn/instrument, they go back into the trumpet case.

Crippling without glasses - it's all a blurr.
