I saw ins another thread where someone said the super zeus is parts from other trumpets.
So which leadpipe was copied and which bell was copied. I never heards of a 5 and 1/4 inch bell before so which horn bell was copied?

    Hi,

The mandrel used was the one the maker once used to make the bell on a _____. If one remembers, the _____ had a 4 7/8" bell.

Since some "super horns" have bells over 5," Kanstul simply made the new bell 5 1/4.

Alex will have to tell you which bell he had 'em borrow the mandrel from. Don't hold your breath.

The horn works well for me. Several other of my trumpet buddies have also tried it, and most have liked it. There were a couple that said it would not be a good match for them, and I can certainly understand that. I really don't care what parts are used to make the horn....it plays really nicely for me, and that is what matters.
