    I agree with the good doctor's statement. ;-)

    I fear that many replies in this thread that start with "you shouldn't" are probably missing the point ... which is to make music.

    Trickg summed it up best in his reply. I'll add the following. Does it sound good? Is the audience happy? Is your bandleader happy? That's the goal.

    The first time I heard that solo. What a wonderful sound he had. His version of "I remember Clifford" is one of my favorites. Thanks gmonady. Thank you all for the information you so graciously shared.
