    Greetings!

Please start with your Representative first. HR 6034. SIGN OUR PETITION

Over the years Taps has become more than just a signal, it has become part of our American Heritage and culture. I doubt whether any person would not be able to recognize the melody after the first three notes or not understand its meaning.

The resolution is to have it officially recognized as our “Song of Remembrance.” Having it officially put into our United States Code cements the well-established tradition of honoring those who have served our nation and promotes the idea that Taps is indeed a musical composition that is truly American. It also will give guidance to the performance and protocol of Taps-something that has never been codified.

If you can PLEASE sign the petition below and help us get more sponsors for House Resolution 6034.

    Thanks!
