Nate is quite an amazing natural trumpet player. I discovered him on Youtube, and he and I are subscribed to each other's channels. (I don't mean I "Discovered" him, like I'm a talent scout ;-) ).

I read that he's been performing the Brandenburg on natural trumpet from his Facebook posts.

Hope he comes to the Bay area sometime, as I'd like to hear him live.

    Hi, Brian!

I almost wish I could concentrate on natural trumpet, but I have so much band, brass band, and orchestra, I just don't have the time. I'm leaning towards trying to go back half-way to the baroque and try playing with a long orchestral trumpet (typically in low F) Maybe I'll find a niche there playing Romantic period instruments if I can't get all the way back to the Baroque and classical...

    later!!

Hi Guy, If you are ready when the craze hits, who knows what could happen? Although I think that there was a good reason that we switched from D, Eb , and F to Bb and C
