My son, Sebastian, he turned 3 last week. and yes I am letting him touch the 112B.
Wonderful! I'll be looking for him to join TrumpetMaster in a few years!!!
My son turns 1 in three weeks. Lately I combine my turn to take care of him with some trumpet practice. He is amazingly content just playing around me while I practice. When I put down a trumpet he is pretty quick to walk over and put the mouthpiece into his mouth. He even makes some lip buzzing noises after watching me. And yes, I let him touch the Recording and Committee. (I am more worried about him damaging the gold plating on my Monette mouthpiece by biting it!)
The photo is really cool. Never too early to start.
Born with a silver mouthpiece??????
My son, who is 14 now(and has his own Bach Strad 37) had an Olds Ambassador with a Bach 7E mouthpiece stuck in it when he was 3. You cannot kill those things!
He used to drag it around the house and play when the mood struck him. I think that it's still under his bed somewhere!
What photo? I don't see any pictures on this thread.
Just look a little harder, you will find it.
I see a photo now under your original post, but there was none there when I read the post initially. Weird.
It seems like if you push them toward it they arent interested. I'd have been better off discouraging them to play, they probably would be solid into it today. Looks like you have a real prodegy on your hands. Good luck keeping up with him!
