Thinking about switching to flute....

    Stick to the trumpet, and get a flute player to help you with your embouchure in between practice sessions.

    My favorite Tower of Power song, "Sparkling in the Sand", has a beautiful and haunting flute part thoughout that sounds great. Whichever one of the horn section is doubling on flute, he really knows how to play it. A great sound and then Mic Gillette comes in with a SOARING trumpet solo that absolutely lays waste to the flute. TRUMPETS RULE. :play:
