Those who have and play Martin Committee Trumpets a question?

    Is this a nice horn?

    Damn straight it is!

    But, I still prefer my '27 2B New World Symphony and I cannot, off the top of my head, name a single "legend" that played one.

    Wait! Just remembered . . . Bunny Berigan recorded "I Can't Get Started" with a 2B, but I don't think he played one for long.

    considering the last comment was about sucking the life out of the bell end of the trumpet ...this thread went astray 2 pages ago

    Yeah, you're right! In that case here's my 28B Connstellation . . .

    Conn Loyalist - 28B Connstellation

    This horn was CONN's answer to the Committee; my second favorite Connie and I like it better too. Just me though. Doc was playing one of these in 1950.
