Sound the goat horn!
And to think we were once worried about the Russians! No such stir over Sergei - it takes blond + female to set off the alarums! Are vee sexzist? Oui.
BTW I met Tine when she was in school. I was one of the trumpet teachers in Vålerenga, but I didn`t teach her. She sounds good.
Nå er vi samlet i samme tråd,
Tine er ombord!
Nå tar vi dem!!!!
Skulle det bli noe trøbbel, ringer vi bare denne gjengen

Gosh...I didn't mean to get you guys all worked up! We have a European feeding frenzy going on here. When I visit England I will definately have to take a trip across the channel to Norway and see what makes their hormones so active.
I thought that most trumpeters knew of Alison Balsom...wow. Maybe we need to establish a thread of current world class trumpeters...hmmmm.
I LOVE your quote: 'Wife still says: Trumpets are expensive!' This is awsome!!!
I just ordered a new Strad with a reverse lead pipe and some other modifications and she told me that I had to "trade in" one of my trumpets. What do they think this is...a car lot? Beside, the amount she has spent on her hair-dos over the years is more that I have tied up in horns and music (well almost).
Where can I find one of those little cartoon pop corn eating guys?
Originally my quote was:
Wife says: Trumpets are expensive.
I say: Clothes are more expensive.
Conclusion? Trumpets last longer than 3 weeks
As you see, wifes are very similar all over the world....
They have no idea of the real value of a piece of brass
OK, which is preferable?
Trumpeter w/o trumpet?
Wife w/o clothes?
