    That got your attention!

She is live in London on Wednesday night - 7.30pm UK time. BUT ALSO :-) the concert is a live broadcast on BBC Radio 3 that night. "...plays an eclectic programme of arrangements and original works for the instrument".

Enjoy - if you can get at it on the www.

I'm glad you're all looking - I'm just answering to keep it there for others to notice!

You are SOOOOOO right. So... I bought a ticket! Thanks for the idea - thought they'd be sold out, but not. Looking forward to it now. :-)

Well the Libertango at the end was far too fast! :O
    But isn't she brilliant? :D
    Wonderful performances throughout.

The new piece, in the first half, commissioned especially for them - wow - if you can play that, then you can play! The final Astor Piazzola tango is one of my fave pieces ever - to hear her playing it was fantastic. I'll never be able to play like that though - more's the pity.

I was also made to feel better - she fluffed a couple of notes during the concert, and missed three or four in a downward scale during one of the de falla pieces. Even the best have to fight with the trumpet...

I now have a signed copy of her CD, and a double signed programme.

Oh yes, and she said to me, 'The tango? that was just fun...'
Wish I could play like that for fun.
