My TL5r and Cornet arrived from Bruce the other day.
The Cornet is AWESOME!! It is in silver with a red brass bell.
The TL5 also has a red bell and is raw brass.

I have not played the trumpet much so wont comment yet.

The cornet is replacing my Smith Watkins. The SW is a very good cornet but I was having difficulty with a few notes. The band I play in uses the new Besson 928s. The Smith Watkins does not break up as much at louder dynamics as the 928. However, the Lawler does not break up. Not at all! The Lawler projects better without 'sticking out'. as for blending in a section, well, no-one complained!

I have played alot of 928s and Yamaha Maestros, Courtios 106 and Besson Prestige and the Smith Watkins. The Lawler is so far ahead of all of them.
I will post more as I play.
