I am a freshman, and i live in texas (under TMEA)and I have made every region band I've tried out 7th, 8th and ninth Region and Region Jazz. My ultimate goal is to earn a chair in the Allstate band. What will it take? What can I do now? Thank you!

The simple answer is, of course, practice. But simply practicing isn't enough. You have to improve. Practice the things your already know how to do to the point of essential perfection. Learn techniques you don't now know and practice them to the point of essential perfection as well. Don't make getting into the All-State your goal, make being the best trumpet player you can be your goal.
