To Practice or Perform?

    I'm a performance junkie. I practice so I can perform, and get that adrenaline high - nothing else like it! Of coarse, being a bit OCD, I'm never truly happy with anything I play....the vicious cycle! Music is meant to be shared, though, and the feeling you can get from that sharing is like nothing else on earth!

    Used to play a lot of duets out of an old book that Mr. "T" had. It was always the last thing we would do, sometimes for an extra hour. It was for site reading practice. It was great! A lot of old Italian Marches in that book, as I recall. Thanks for sparking that memory Rowuk!

    When I'm playing a concerto or a solo I like to perform. I think I play more musically.

    When I'm playing with a band it doesn't mater. I guess a rehearsal is more fun.
