Tongue position

    And the moral of the post is, no matter whether in person or over the net (skype), you need a teacher.

    I'm trying to keep with the new "spirit" of staying on point in a thread. Who knows if he's taken our advice. Some good posts, but w/o a teacher he won't know if he's doing it right. Brother Bach made a good point about how it actually sounds to the audience. I've thought at times I sounded awful and people say I sounded great so... .

    I found this one interesting and helpful. I find my tonguing sounds as very sharp-edged when i record it, which then makes the music sound quite ploddy - not flowing enough. So a different 'thought' of sound should help me to get a more silky golden sound. thanks

    Especially in the Rocky Mountain Region. It's pretty wild out there, I hear.
